MEET THE CHEF

Tzvi Maller was born and raised in LA where he first acquired his love and passion for food and for the industry. From the age of 16 Tzvi worked in the restaurant business in both the front and back of the house; mastering the art of customer service as well as learning how to serve food that keeps people coming back for more. In the year 2000 Tzvi opened his first restaurant, Sushi Metsuyan in Teaneck NJ and from there, continued to open multiple restaurants, including The Pasta Factory and Nobo Wine & Grill.

In 2011 Tzvi fulfilled another lifelong dream - to make aliyah with his family. A few years later Tzvi opened his first restaurant in Mahane Yehuda, Crave. Mojos, with locations in downtown Jerusalem as well as Teaneck, New Jersey is is a family run joint serving up kosher meat pizzas, delectable small plates as well as finely crafted cocktails and wine. On most nights you can find Tzvi in the kitchen at Mojo's cooking up crowd favorites with one hand and drinking wine with the other.
